Side by Side Installation with Visual Studio 2017

Visual Studio Team Explorer 2017 (VSTE) can be installed side by side with Visual Studio 2017 Enterprise, Professional and Community editions by providing “Installation nickname”. If you see below screenshot VSTE installation is in progress along with other installed VS2017 editions.

After Installation, you can connect to VSTS, TFS and Git using Team explorer. We can connect to only Team explorer with VSTE installation.
